Gold One minimising output disruption

[miningmx.com] – GOLD One International said it was working to
minimise disruption to output at its Modder East gold mine, where a strike was called
by workers on June 3.

“The policy of “no work, no pay’ is being enforced, and contingency measures are in
place to minimise the impact on production,’ the company said in an announcement to
the JSE.

Gold One has issued a notice to dismissed workers to “make representations’ against
their dismissal as a result of the strike which the company said had been deemed
illegal by the Labour Court.
