[miningmx.com] – AN employee at AngloGold Ashanti’s Mponeng mine lost his life on November 25 following a fall of ground, the company said.
The DMR has been notified and an in loco inspection was conducted today. In the meantime, stoping and development activities have been suspended, AngloGold said. The deceased was a scraper winch operator.
