[miningmx.com] – MASTER Drilling turned in a strong full-year financial performance with African business driving the figures, said BDLive.
Headline earnings for the year ended December 31, were about a third higher year-on-year at some $131.5c. Sales revenue from its African business stood out, more than doubling from $9.34m to $19.26m, said the publication.
It cited Master Drilling CEO, Danie Pretorius, as saying that the move towards mechanisation was helping grow prospects for the group. “There is a move to mechanisation and this grants us a lot of business,” said Pretorius.
