[miningmx.com] – UK-LISTED Petra Diamonds lifted carat production 25% in the three months to September despite suffering strikes at three of its four South African mines, BDlive said.
It produced 816,735 carats in the quarter compared with 654,690 carats in the same period last year. The company was on track to meet its target of 3 million carats for the year to June 2014 with a long-term target of 5 million carats by 2019, BDLive said.
