Assore has launched legal action against African Rainbow Minerals, alleging Patrice Motsepe's mining company has hijacked decision-making powers at their joint venture Assmang.

Tanzania's High Court has struck out a $195m damages claim filed against African Rainbow Minerals and entities linked to founder Patrice Motsepe.

A legal battle has broken out between South Africa's Motsepe and Sacco families over the operational management and governance of their joint venture, Assmang.
