Optimum Coal expects earnings boost

[miningmx.com] — OPTIMUM Coal said on Tuesday its full year earnings would be between 71% and 78% higher.

The company said earnings per share for the year to end-June were expected to be between 225c and 235c, compared to 131.75c last year.

Headline earnings per share were expected to come in at between 200c and 206c against 28.92c in the year to end-June 2010.

The group intends to publish its reviewed interim results on Thursday.
