
[miningmx.com] — CENTRAL Rand Gold said on Thursday it has started court proceedings in its bid to set aside the decision taken by die Minister of Mineral Resources to cancel its mining right.
The group said it submitted its application for an urgent motion in the North Gauteng High Court on Wednesday. The Sheriff was instructed to serve th application papers on the Minister and other departmental functionaries joined as co-respondents in the matter.
The respondents have until October 21 to respond, whereafter CRG would be able to respond prior to a court hearing date scheduled for the first week of November.
