Swanepoel granted R9m in Village share options

[miningmx.com] – BERNARD Swanepoel has been awarded some 5.7
million in share options in Village Main Reef, the diversified mining company of which
he is joint CEO.

The value of the shares, which will held in an escrow account, is worth R9m at a price
of R1.53/share, the company said in an announcement to the JSE.

Village Main is currently trading at R1.54/share, off its calendar-year high of
R2.43/share.

In total, some R24.4m worth of Village Main shares have been distributed to
Swanepoel and four other directors – equal to some 15.3 million shares – including
Marius Saaiman and Dalu Ncube, the company’s joint CEO and COO respectively.
