[miningmx.com] — NORTHAM Platinum announced on Monday that an employee – Antonio Alberto Bila – died in a tramming accident on Sunday.
The accident occurred some 1,480 metres underground at its Zondereinde mine in Limpopo.
Stoping operations at the mine have been suspended pending the conclusion of an internal investigation into the cause of the accident, the company said.
