[miningmx.com] – PUBLIC Enterprises minister, Lynne Brown, has called for patience with Eskom and warned that South Africa would have to endure a tough two years while the utility built about 9,000MW of power.
In an article by BDLive, Brown said there was a plan to turn around the power utility which she described as “a supertanker”.
“I appeal to all of us in this House, all our social partners, and the public, that Eskom must fix Eskom. It is an energy and efficiency problem,” she said.
Brown was speaking during a snap debate in the National Assembly about Eskom which said earlier this week it would resume load-shedding again over the weekend.
