[miningmx.com] – THE best way to ensure progress of beneficiation was to create a favourable business environment first, said BDLive citing a presentation given by Chamber of Mines’ economist, Roger Baxter.
“While business supports the concept of growing the downstream mineral beneficiation sector, we all agree that this can only be achieved by creating a facilitating environment that attracts manufacturing companies to invest or expand in South Africa,” BDLive quoted Baxter to have said.
He was speaking in a presentation to Parliament’s trade and industry portfolio committee.
