ANC to blame for Eskom power crisis

[miningmx.com] – JULIUS Malema, leader of South Africa’s second largest opposition party, said the African National Congress (ANC) was to blame for the country’s energy crisis due to a lack of leadership.

In an article by Bloomberg News, Malema – who leads the Economic Freedom Fighers (EFF) – is quoted to have said: “Eskom is performing the way it is because of lack of leadership and capacity and not because of apartheid”.

Earlier, President Jacob Zuma deflected criticism for the near bankruptcy of Eskom and its inability to power the country consistently on the policies of white controlled government of the National Party before democracy was installed in South Africa.
