Rockwell boosts Q4 sales 24%

[miningmx.com] – ROCKWELL Diamonds posted a 24% increase in fourth quarter diamond sales to $10.6m owing to the sale of two stones worth more than 120 carats each from the firm’s Saxendrift mine in South Africa’s Middle Orange River.

The average selling price for Rockwell’s Middle Orange River stones was $2,461 per carat, a one quarter increase owing to the high value stones. Total sales, excluding beneficiation were 8% higher at $13.1m which included goods from royalty contractor miners.

James Campbell, CEO of Rockwell, said the company hoped to incorporate the recently acquired Remhoogte/Holsloot Project before the close of the first half of its new (current) financial year.
