[miningmx.com] – IMPALA Platinum (Implats), the world’s second largest platinum producer, said proposed amendments to the Minerals & Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA) may cause a breach of its long-term supply agreements with clients in the US and Asia.
BDLive cited Implats legal representative Stefanie Vivier who was presenting to the minerals portfolio committee regarding the proposed changes to the MPRDA who said that the amendment also didn’t clarify its understanding of beneficiation.
