[miningmx.com] – LONMIN would negotiate with its South African platinum peers rather than embark on standalone discussions over wages with the Association of Mineworkers & Construction Union (AMCU), said Bloomberg News.
“We are all around the same table going through the same options,’ Lonmin CEO, Ben Magara told Bloomberg News. “It is important to collaborate.’
Discussions between platinum producers Lonmin, and Anglo American Platinum and Impala Plaitnum were adjourned on February 5 with no date yet set for a resumption of negotiations.
