Rio’s Rossing to cut more jobs

[miningmx.com] – RIO Tinto’s Namibian uranium miner, Rossing Uranium, is likely to cut more jobs as it seeks to cope with reduced demand and lower ore grades, said Bloomberg News.

Rossing fired 276 workers last year as demand for the metal used in nuclear power stations weakened around the world after Japan’s Fukushima atomic meltdown in 2011, said Bloomberg News.
