Ramaphosa discloses R76.6m in shares

[miningmx.com] – CYRIL Ramaphosa, South African deputy president, estimated the nominal value of his shares at R76.6m, said Bloomberg News citing a disclosure by the mining entrepreneur in Parliament.

Investments include direct stakes in 30 townhouses, two apartments and seven companies as well as directorships in McDonald’s Corporation. He was required to make the disclosures in terms of Parliament rules.

Ramaphosa built his wealth in Shanduka Group which was largely established on business mining and selling coal with Glencore, the Swiss headquartered resources and trading group.

Ramaphosa has a 29.6% stake in Shanduka, said Bloomberg News.
