[miningmx.com] – EXXARO Resources is to exit the Gamsberg zinc project in which it is a 26% shareholder in 2016, said Bloomberg News citing the Johannesburg listed diversified miner.

Vedanta Resources, the UK-listed mining firm, said on November 13 that it would spend R8.7bn building Gamsberg in South Africa’s Northern Cape province. Exxaro represents Vedanta’s black economic empowerment partner.
