[miningmx.com] – Patrice Motsepe, chairman of African Rainbow Minerals (ARM), said power utility, Eskom, had let South Africa down.
BDLive cited Motsepe as saying: “Eskom has let all of us down very badly and there should be quite serious intervention to make sure Eskom is a competitive, cost-effective, reliable provider of electricity”.
“If electricity and water were available at a competitive price . a huge number of jobs could be created, not only by ARM but various other mining companies as well.” Motsepe was speaking at ARM’s interim results presentation.
