[miningmx.com] – SOLIDARITY declared a dispute with the Chamber of Mines following a revised 7% wage increase offer with the union saying there was too much of a difference in housing allowances offered to employee categories.
“The dispute regarding the inequalities in the housing allowance has already been dragging on for eight years and must be resolved during this round of negotiations,” said Gideon du Plessis, general-secretary for Solidarity.
