[miningmx.com] – NAMIBIA’S economy is forecast to grow 5% this year partly owing to mining output as well as construction in the private and public sectors, said Reuters.
The growth forecast follows an increase of 4.5% in economic activity in 2014 whilst the outlook for 2015 is growth of 5.5%, the newswire said citing the southern African country’s central bank.
In its own forecast last week, the International Monetary Fund also predicted growth 5% this year for Nambia, said Reuters.
