[miningmx.com] – SOUTH African platinum producers Impala Platinum, Anglo American Platinum and Aquarius Platinum were considering building a precious metals refinery in Zimbabwe, said Bloomberg News citing an association representing the companies.
“The PPA are still finalizing the cost of construction and commissioning of these units,’ the group told Bloomberg News. The mines owned by these companies in Zimbabwe produced about 365,000 ounces of platinum this year.
