[miningmx.com] – MARK Cutifani, CEO of Anglo American, is to undergo a routine hip operation at the end of the month, said Bloomberg News citing the UK group’s spokesperson, Pranill Ramchander.
Cutifani “will be out of action for a couple of days,’ said Ramchander in an e-mailed statement today. The Australian CEO, 55, isn’t due to speak at the Mining Indaba conference in Cape Town taking place February 3 to February 6, said Anglo American.
