Randgold’s Bristow gets 36% pay lift

[miningmx.com] – MARK Bristow received a 36% increase in total pay to $7.4m, said Bloomberg News citing the gold company’s annual report which was published last week.

Bristow’s salary was $1.58m with an additional $2.78m paid in a bonus while payments under the company’s long-term incentive plan more than doubled to $3.22m, Bloomberg News said.

Under Bristow’s control, Randgold Resources has grown into the UK’s largest gold producer with a market value of $7bn and generating a total return of 812% in the last 10 years, said Bloomberg News.
