[miningmx.com] – HARMONY Gold said a miner was fatally injured at the company’s Masimong mine after a fall of ground last night.
Investigations into the accident are underway and all production at the mine has been stopped, the company said in an announcement to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
Harmony CEO, Graham Briggs, and his management team, expressed their sincere condolences to the families and colleagues of the deceased during this difficult time.
