[miningmx.com] – THE unprotected strike at Consolidated Murchison, a mine owned by Village Main Reef, would test the framework agreement on sustainable mining signed by unions and management earlier this month, BDLive said.
The framework agreement set down rules and responsibilities required of government, unions and employers in an effort to secure peace and stability on the country’s mines. It was facilitated by deputy president, Kgalema Motlanthe.
