[miningmx.com] – SHARES in Keaton Energy rose nearly 11% on the JSE on Thursday after it reported a strong recovery in volumes at its Vanggatfontein mine in South Africa’s Mpumalanga province.
Production at the Vanggatfontein colliery increased 48% as it delivered 526,034 tonnes of washed thermal coal to Eskom in the quarter, up from 356,518 tonnes in the previous quarter.
