[miningmx.com] – NAMIBIA is to buy French group Areva’s $271m desalination plant first built to service the now mothballed Trekkopje uranium plant in the country, said Bloomberg News.
“Cabinet has made a decision for us to acquire that plant, we are busy with technicalities before we make an offer,’ Joseph Iita, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry, told the newswire service.
