[miningmx.com] – IMPALA Platinum (Implats) told Bloomberg News that it might buy platinum on the open market to meet deliveries as a two-month strike at its premises started to deplete inventories.
“We definitely can’t continue to supply all our clients as we normally would’ve done,’ Johan Theron, Implats spokesman told the newswire service.
Theron earlier said that the compay would continue to supply South African clients throughout April and prioritise key international clients until the end of the month. The company met all deliveries in March, he told Bloomberg News.
