[miningmx.com] – CHINA and India could match the size of the US diamond market by 2020, said Bloomberg News citing Jean-Marc Lieberherr, MD of Rio Tinto’s diamond business.
“We will see strong growth in India as soon as the country gets its house in order with the new government,’ Lieberherr told the newswire in an interview.
“With China, policy is moving more toward encouraging domestic consumption rather than infrastructure and that’s going to have a positive impact,’ he said.
