He told BDLive on Sunday night that “uniting all South Africans behind a common goal’ was his priority, and he would work hard to “stabilise the situation’ as soon as possible.
“We call on all sectors to support us in doing this,’ he said.
President Jacob Zuma buckled to pressure on Sunday night after his removal of Nhlanhla Nene as finance minister, and announced the reappointment of Gordhan to the post he held before Nene.
