Kibo Mining starts Tanzania feasibility

[miningmx.com] – JOHANNESBURG-listed coal development firm, Kibo Mining, said it had completed a survey of its Rukwa coal resource in Tanzania ahead of converting indicated resources to a measured resource.

The study marked the first stage of the feasibility study into the Rukwa Coal to Power Project, said Louise Coetzee, CEO of Kibo Mining. The new resource statement was expected in the first quarter of 2014.

“The Rukwa survey will allow an independent restatement of the resource, with the expectation that a large portion thereof will be classified as ‘measured’,” said Coetzee.
