[miningmx.com] – COAL of Africa (CoAL) said production and export sales for the June quarter were adversely affected by flooding in Mozambique which led to the closure of the Matola coal terminal in Mozambique.
Total run-of-mine coal production fell 79% from the previous quarter to 188,921 tonnes.
The producer did not provide year-on-year comparative figures, said Platts.
